A delegation of the African Socialist Movement (ASM) leaves Freetown today for Conakry, Guinea.
The delegation comprises ASM’s Chairman, Chernoh Alpha Bah, Comrades Abubakarr Leigh and Rhoda Spencer-Cole.
The three will meet with officials of the Guinea-Bissau Embassy in Conakry to discuss the shipment of rice and other relief supplies to help affected communities in Sierra Leone.
The ASM has been leading efforts to provide medical supplies and food aid to communities and health centers affected by the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.
Meetings with other groups will also form part of the agenda of the visit.
