29 New Ebola Infections Today in Sierra Leone

29 new Ebola infections reported today in Sierra Leone; 10 of these are in Freetown and its environs.

Reports from Kailahun say there are no Ebola patients in the holding center in the district as the last patient was reportedly discharged today.

Health officials in Sierra Leone said the total number of Ebola deaths has reached 2,163 people since June.

There are reports that a member of parliament in Freetown is seriously ill and has been picked by an Ebola patrol team. There is no confirmation on the cause of his illness.
