First Ebola Holding Facility in Sierra Leone Releases its Last Patient

Good news seems to be coming out of Kailahun today as the case management center workers celebrate the discharge of what they describe as the last ebola patient from the center.

Sources say the case management center in Kailahun is empty today.

The district was the center of the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone and was home to the first Ebola holding facility in the country.

Yeaterday, health officials in Sierra Leone recorded 47 new Ebola infections; the majority from Freetown and its environs.
