A two month old baby, Aminata Lamin is among twelve Ebola survivors discharged today at the Hastings Ebola Treatment Center in Freerown, according to health officials in Sierra Leone.
The Center’s Coordinator, Dr. Santigie Sesay told journalists in Freetown that the two months old baby girl was brought to the treatment facility along with her mother, who is still responding to treatment.
“Due to the current state of the mother, the baby will be handed over to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs,” he said.
